Roses that we grow that we got from David Austin Roses. The red one in the picture is called Gertrude Jekyll and the yellow one is called The Poet’s Wife.
And the poem, of course, from Walt Whitman, whose birthday was May 31, and lived across the river in Camden before his death in 1892.
